Its dough is the same as the classic panettone, with orange, candied citron, and sultanas inside, but the top is covered with a glaze made with sugar, almond flour, and hazelnuts, which adds a crunchy touch to each slice.
It is measured out before baking, along with a garnish of almonds and granulated sugar.
